Work from home with occasional travel to the London office (approx. once a month)

Interviews will take place online via video conference – week commencing 31st July

Job Introduction

Founded in 1997, GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in reviewing, developing, and implementing systems to track the performance, quality, and effectiveness of GamCare's Programme Teams. Collaborating with managers and team leads, you will provide insightful analysis of performance data, ensuring consistent and timely data reporting.

We are seeking a data-driven professional who can contribute to performance improvement planning by identifying and analysing data and presenting findings in an engaging manner tailored to different audiences. You will have the opportunity to explore trends and insights across the sector, comparing data and contributing to external evaluations and audits, and supporting GamCare's continuous development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, developing, and implementing systems to track the performance, quality, and effectiveness of GamCare's Programmes Teams.
  • Providing insightful analysis of performance data, collaborating with managers and team leads to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.
  • Contributing to performance improvement planning from a data perspective by identifying and analysing data and presenting findings in an engaging manner.
  • Exploring trends and insights across the sector, comparing data, and contributing to external evaluations and audits.
  • Responding to data requests and examining trends, patterns, and anomalies within data, providing valuable insights to drive informed decision-making.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a skilled Data Analyst looking for a meaningful opportunity to make a difference. You’ll also be passionate about using data to make a positive impact and possess excellent stakeholder communication skills.

You will have the chance to present your data findings and reports in a clear and concise manner, empowering internal and external stakeholders with the information they need. With efficient report generation and a focus on prioritisation, you will enable your colleagues to confidently manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
